Some alphas become so laser-focused on one audacious perspective that they fail to see other areas they could excel in. (And more often than not, we think the only way to be alpha is to be in the spotlight.)

For example, think of professional athletes. We have a tendency to believe that becoming a star athlete is the only way to become an alpha in the world of sports. However, did we ever consider who signed these star athletes to begin with? They make even more money than the athletes themselves! Being audaciously alpha isn’t just about taking the familiar roads; it’s about zooming out enough to observe how you can be alpha in ways you may not have realized.
